Major Change
--
A lot of things have changed over the months and the way I view things is different than before (at least that’s how I feel). I began working full-time in March and have been working since, and honestly, I enjoy working more than studying despite the stress I go through. It’s true when they say whatever you learn has nothing to do with your future, well maybe not 100% but at least 80%.
I got a tattoo a few days ago and up till now, I still can’t believe I did it. Thought about it for years and on that day I got the tattoo, I just did it spontaneously. Got to the parlor and discussed it with the artist. He gave me a green light to do it on the spot and without any hesitation, I showed him the design I want and right of the bet, he started sketching the design, and at that moment, I thought to myself “Holy shit, here we go.” I expected the pain to be unbearable but it wasn’t that bad overall. I got people questioning me about the design I chose and there’s more to it actually. My initial design was spider and its web (mainly bc Spider-Man) is my all-time favorite superhero, but it doesn’t seem right after giving it a thought. I’ve been wanting a rose too but again, it feels weird with just a rose, so I mixed it with half a skull.
I finally met up with a few of my high school friends last night at our friend’s party after not meeting for months and some even years. It felt so good to see them after so long and it just felt right to see the people I grew up with again especially now that we’re literally entering adulthood. It’s sad to see us growing old and how things are so much different than it was a few years ago. That’s why I feel it’s important that we appreciate the people around us and the situation before it’s too late. I’ve mentioned a lot of times that anything can happen at any moment and we never appreciate anything until the last moment or when it’s gone.
